* EmploymentInsane Guitar Index Insane Guitar is a shred-guitar site which focuses on speed, advanced technique, and the like. These lessons, part of my "Insanity 101" series that began in early 2002 (Joel runs roughly 6 columns per columnist per year), are designed primarily, though not exclusively, for the intermediate & advanced shred-style player. Most contain a healthy dose of "insanity" in that the focus is on odd scales, concepts, techniques, and so forth. Other installations, however, feature player profiles, fundamental concepts, and things a bit less than gonzo. As an aside, the early lessons demonstrate my near ineptitude with PowerTab and should in no way reflect on the players or concepts profiled.
